GIRARD, Ga. - Elder Nathaniel Turner, Jr. departed his life on May 21, 2007. He was a loving and dedicated Elder, husband, and father. He is survived by his loving wife of twenty- two years, Vevelyan Turner; three sons, Reginald, Marcus, and Dontavius Turner; two daughters, Shalonda and Natalie Turner, Girard, Ga.; parents, Nathaniel Turner, Sr. and Alice Williams Turner, Girard, Ga.; one sister, Grindel (Derrick) Larry, Savannah, Ga.; three brothers, Clyde (Sherrie) Turner, Roswell, Ga., Nicholas (Keisha) Turner, and Rico Turner, Girard, Ga.; one brother-in- law, Russell Holmes, Newnan, Ga.; four sisters-in-law, Patricia (Edward) Robinson, Lithonia, Ga., Velinda (Robert) Thomas, Sardis, Ga., Ondra (Vincent) Washington, Augusta, Ga., Toni (Vista) Jeffries, Chattanooga, Tenn.; six aunts, Melvina Walker, Detroit, Mich., Angie Williams, Augusta, Ga., Shellie Mae Cooper, Sylvania, Ga., Sarah Gaines, Arlene (Willie) Barnett, Clara Turner, Girard, Ga.; two uncles, Willie James Williams, Girard, Ga. and Kyla Walker, Augusta, Ga.; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 26, 2007 at the Burke County Comprehensive High School Auditorium, 1057 Burke Veteran's Parkway, Waynesboro, Ga. at 12 noon.
