LINCOLNTON, Ga. - Mrs. Evelyn Colvin Florence, 79, of Elam Ave., died Thursday, May 24 at Lake Crossing Health Care, Appling. Funeral services will be held Sunday, May 27, 2007 at 4 p.m. at Hephzibah Baptist Church with Revs. Paul C. Reviere and Allen Danner officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Florence, a lifelong resident of Lincoln County, was the daughter of the late Thomas Edison and Merle Story Colvin. She was a retired food service worker and a member of Hephzibah Baptist Church where she was a former leader in the Children's Sunday School Class and VBS. She was preceded in death by her husband, William A. (Boydie) Florence. Survivors: daughters, Ann F. Reviere and husband Paul, Wanda F. Wengrow and husband Michael, all of Lincolnton; sisters, Margaret Green, Dearing, Ga., Louise Poss, Anchorage, Alaska, Jean Paradise, Lincolnton; grandchildren, William Eric Wengrow, Ashley Wengrow Crawford and husband Robby; great- grandchild, Abraham David Crawford. Pallbearers are Mike Beggs, Leon Florence, Jr., Jeff Gay, Ricky Crook, Keith Cunningham, John Martin, and Danny Aycock.
