AUGUSTA, Ga. - Entered into rest Sunday, May 20, 2007 at her residence, Mrs. Susie S. Williams of Beaufort Avenue, widow of the late Deacon Charles H. Williams. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, May 25, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. from Second Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend J. L. Stokes officiating. Interment will be in Walker Memorial Park. The remains will lie in state at the church from 12:00 noon until the hour of service. The funeral procession will leave the residence at 12:15 p.m. Mrs. Williams was a native of Augusta and a member of Second Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, where she served as Mother of the Church, President of the Deaconess Board, and Secretary of the Senior Choir. Survivors are three daughters, Celestine W. Gibson, Lithonia, Ga., Teresa "Rita" Bogans-Becton and Ethelinda C. Williams, both of Augusta; adopted daughter, Dr. Charlene L. Wilkerson, Augusta; seven grandchildren, Charles F. Hollins, Celeste' F. Hollins, Thurston E. Williams, Tijuana S. Bogans, all of Augusta and Terrence M. (Vanessa) Bogans, Newport News, Va., Travis B. Bogans, Dover, Del. and Quentin Gibson, Lithonia, Ga.; twelve great-grandchildren; brother, Bobby J. Devoe, Covington, Ga.; sister-in-law, Lizzie Saxton, Covington, Ga.; brother-in-law, Emanuel C. (Naomi) Williams; two godchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. W. H.
