GREENVILLE, S.C. - Mrs. Lizell Breland Blocker, 87, formerly of 121 Kershaw Street, NE, Aiken, departed this life on Friday, May 11, 2007 at her residence, 204 Fork Shoals Rd., Greenville, S.C. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 16, 2007 at 3 p.m. from the Friendship Baptist Church, Aiken, with Rev. T.C. Edwards and Rev. Dr. Troy Toney officiating. Burial will follow in the Jessamine Memorial Gardens, Aiken. Survivors include her husband, Ernest Blocker, Greenville, S.C.; son, Charles (Amy) Breland, Aiken, S.C.; a devoted granddaughter, Denise Breland Riley, Columbia, S.C.; daughter-in-law, Yvonnne Nicholson Williams, Aiken, S.C.; eight grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Friends may call at 121 Kershaw Street, NE, Aiken or at Jackson- Brooks Funeral Home beginning 3 p.m. Tuesday. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. The remains will lie in state Wednesday at the church from 2 to 3 p.m. Jackson-Brooks Funeral Home, Aiken, S.C.
