AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. James Lovett, of Dade Street, entered into rest Thursday, May 3, 2007 at Select Specialty Hospital. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 10, 2007 at 1 p.m. at Union Baptist Church, Barnwell, S.C., with Rev. John W. Dingle officiating. Burial will be in Walker Memorial Park. He was a native of Barnwell County, S.C. and a member of Union Baptist Church. Survivors are his wife, Ola Bell Lovett; two sons, James (Carolyn) Lovett, Jr. and Roosevelt (Carrie) Lovett, Hephzibah, Ga.; mother, Annie N. Rainey, Augusta; two brothers, Francis (Annie L.) Rainey, Sr., New Ellenton, S.C. and Thomas (Faye) White, Sr., Detroit, Mich.; eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; aunt, Lillie (Thomas) Wilson, Augusta; five sisters-in-law, Agnes Henley, Lottie Mae (Willie) Hall, Josephine (Norman) Burton, and Louise Frazier, all of Augusta and Berth White, Detroit, Mich.; a host of brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.
