LAS VEGAS, Nev. - Patricia Alexis Cooke, II, formerly of Hephzibah, Ga., died Monday April 30, 2007 at home in her sleep after a brief illness. Patricia was born July 4, 1979 in Ft. Lewis, Wash. to Walter R. Cooke Jr. and Patricia Alexis Cooke. She is survived by her fianc and the love of her life for the past eight years, Jody Lee Mortiz; daughters, Dominique Alexis, Alexandria Lynn; son, Jody Lee Jr.; parents, Walter R. Cooke Jr. and Patricia Alexis Beasley (Dennis); sister, Lisa Suzanne; brother, Walter Ray III (Jeri); grandmother, Maryse Joudry; grandfather, Walter R. Cooke Sr.; many aunts, uncles, great-aunts, great-uncles, cousins, and many special friends. Patricia donated her body to science because she always wanted to help others. She said, 'If my body can help at least one person then my life was worth living.' Patricia loved life and enjoyed living. Patricia's smiles will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. A memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m. Friday, May 11, 2007 at the Good Sheppard Chapel, Bldg 29608 on Barnes Ave, Ft. Gordon, Ga. A memorial fund has been established at Wachovia Bank.
