THIS IS A RANT FOR my commissioner, Jimmy Smith. I thought maybe he had resigned or something.

I'VE GOT A RANT about the trash pickup. This was forced on the people of Richmond County and a lot of people are retaliating, I guess, by dumping furniture along the side of the roads.

WAYNE FRAZIER NEEDS to be an alternative school student instead of a principal. Anytime you can tell a child if he comes to school without washing his face or brushing his teeth that he will be sent home, you do not need that position.

THE CHRONICLE NEEDS to adopt the same policy for Rants and Raves as it does letters to the editor, i.e, the name of the author has to be printed. If an author is not willing to be identified, then he or she does not deserve to be heard

A RANT TO THE designer of the Peach Orchard Road Post Office. The parking lot is a nightmare.

I GET SICK AND TIRED of people complaining about pay for law enforcement, teachers, etc. If you are don't like it, leave and get another job.

A BIG RANT FOR Commissioner Marion Williams for his stupid idea of cheapening the memory of James Brown by making a carnival attraction out of his statute.

A RANT FOR the person who stole the bouquet off of my mother's grave at Hillcrest Cemetery. It is bad enough she was killed by a thief, but still she is a victim of crime!

MARION, YOU NEED to get out of office. Augusta is never going to grow as long as you're on that commission.

IF THE MEDICAL COMMUNITY recognizes drug and alcohol dependency as a disease, why then are we not locking up people with AIDS, the flu or cancer? Because there is no cure for cancer patients in prison. Why is it so hard to realize there is no cure for drug addicts and alcoholics in prison?

THIS IS A MESSAGE to all the people of south Augusta who don't want all the lowlifes increasing the crime rate in their neighborhoods. Now you know why we don't want people from Richmond County moving into Columbia County.
