BEECH ISLAND, S.C. - Funeral Services for Mrs. Billie Weed, 78, of Urquhart Drive, Beech Island, SC, who entered into rest, March 27, 2007, will be conducted Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Stephen D. Posey Funeral Home. Pastor Mark Canipe officiating. Interment in Sunset Memory Gardens. Mrs. Weed was a native of Andalusia, Alabama having made Beech Island her home for the past 54 years. She was a member of Heights Baptist Church, the Women's Missionary Union, Women's Sunday School Class and the Young at Hearts. Mrs. Weed was the wife of the late Mr. James T. Weed. The family expresses deep appreciation to the staff of the Sterling House for the loving care of their mother. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Randy and Edith Weed, Beech Island and Mickey and Brenda Weed, Melbourne, Florida; a daughter, Judy Ham, Beech Island; a brother, Corbin Butler, Andalusia, AL; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Henry Cone, Pat Patterson, Ed Black, Richard Johnson, Frank Rollins and Ricky Butts. The family will receive friends at the funeral home this Thursday evening from 6 to 8. The family will be at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Randy Weed, 326 Beech Island Avenue, Beech Island, SC.
