AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. Ike Coleman, Sr., 54, entered into rest on Saturday, March 24, 2007 at University Hospital. Memorial Services will be Friday, March 30, 2007, at 1:00PM at Murphy Ebenezer Baptist Church with the Reverend Echols Miller presiding. Ike joined Murphy Ebenezer at an early age and graduated from Waynesboro High School. He worked faithfully for Lewis Coleman Masonry, Inc. for 25 years. He was a member of R.A. Dent Elks Lodge #1725 for 10 years and held the position of Past Grand Exalted Ruler. He married his wife Brenda, December 24, 1985, and to this union four sons were born. He was preceded in death by his parents, Burnis and Louise Coleman; two brothers, Hubert Coleman and Elliot Coleman; one sister, Bernice Coleman; father and mother-in-law, Clifford and Mary Jane Golatt Sr.; and two grandsons, Bre'Naiya and Brayndon Coleman. Survivors include his wife, Brenda Coleman; six sons, Antonio Coleman, Ike (Kathy) Coleman, Jr., Vince Coleman, Moses Coleman, Santonio Coleman, and Tyrone Wesby; and a host of other relatives and friends.
