Fire re-ignites

A Martinez-Columbia Fire Rescue firefighter battles a rekindled fire Wednesday at a home in the 6200 block of Old Union Road outside Harlem. The home was heavily damaged when fire of an unknown cause broke out on a back porch at about 12:30 a.m. No one was hurt. The fire re-ignited at about 2 p.m. and was spotted by an American Red Cross official on the scene to lend aid to the family of Rachael Morris-Whitaker, displaced by the blaze.  J. Scott Trubey/Staff
