AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Emma Barstat Kerley, 95, wife of the late Jack Stanford Kerley entered into rest Tuesday, March 13, 2007 at Blair House. Graveside funeral services will be held on Monday, March 19, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. in Hillcrest Memorial Park with Reverend Tracy Pressley officiating. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the Cemetery. Survivors include her son Karl Heniz Viethen and his wife Irene Viethen-Mosli of Switzerland; two grandsons Karl Heniz Viethen, Jr. and Matthias Viethen; and Three great-grandchildren, Jessie, Luis and Gaston. Mrs. Kerley was born in Elchniederung, Germany to the late Samuel and Auguste Brunsberg Barstat. She owned and operated the Jagerheim Restaurant before coming to Augusta in 1967.
