AUGUSTA, Ga. - Bessie May Glover, 96, entered into rest at her home in Augusta, Ga. on Sunday, March 11, 2007. Mrs. Glover was born September 5, 1910 in Washington County, Ga. She resided for 55 years in Jefferson County, Ga. before moving to Augusta 8 years ago. She was the daughter of the late Charles S. and Maybelle May. She joins her husband, Nelson Page and daughter, Virginia Fox in eternal rest. Family members include, Marian Teuton, Savannah, Ga., Evelyn Petrea, Augusta, Ga., Betty Brooks, Birmingham, Ala., Annette Peavy, Warthen, Ga., Lynette Meeks, Warner Robbins, Ga., Charles Glover, Martinez, Ga., Mickey Rudolph, Raleigh, N.C., Marguerite Garner, Burlington, N.C., Janice Richardson, Augusta, Ga., Marinelle Thomas, Greenville, S.C., Glenda Shields, Graham, N.C., Danny Glover, Evans, Ga., Beth Thomas, Graham, N.C.; sister, Carolyn Brassell, and brother, Paul May, Augusta, Ga.; and 33 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren; and long term care giver, Deborah Miller. She was preceded in death by sisters, Ella Pearl May, Augusta, Ga. and Frances Darden of Sparta, Ga.; brothers, Hoke May, Sparta, Ga. and Wayne May, of Warthen, Ga. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 3:00 p.m. at the Friendship Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Rev. George Aycock will officiate. Visitation will be held at Friendship from 1 p.m. until the time of service. May and Smith Funeral Directors, Sandersville, is in charge of these arrangements. NORTH AUGUSTA -- A fire on Womrath Road resulted in two deaths, the Aiken County coroner said. He identified them as Vernon Harper, 55, and Todd M. Morris, 45, both of 1018 Womrath Road.
