AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. Hezzie Valentine Weathers, 83, beloved husband of the late Myrtle Weathers, entered into rest at the Medical College of Georgia on March 4, 2007. Graveside Services will be held on Tuesday March 6, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. at West View Cemetery. Born in Augusta, Georgia, Mr. Weathers was the son of the late Hezzie Weathers and the late Bessie Bennett Weathers. He served during World War II in the U. S. Army. Mr. Weathers was a member of the First Assembly of God Church. He retired from Swift and Company as a meat packer. Survivors include two sons, Bobby Weathers and Billy Weathers both of Augusta, Georgia; two daughters, Donna Epperly and Shirley James both of Hephzibah, Georgia; sixteen grandchildren and twenty one great grandchildren.
