Fix it: William Few Parkway and Washington Road

A series of several large drop-offs lines the right turn lane onto William Few Parkway from Washington Road. The roads department promises to fix it.

WHAT'S THE PROBLEM? Several large drop-offs near the right-hand turning lane of a busy Columbia County road has one reader worried about being thrown back into traffic. The holes line the side of a turning lane onto William Few Parkway from Washington Road.

WHO'S RESPONSIBLE? The Columbia County Road's and Bridges Department can be reached at (706) 541-1143.

WHAT'S BEING DONE? Tim Holloway, the assistant manager for the department, observed the site and said he would order a crew to patch up the uneven area.
