BELVEDERE, S.C. - Ms. Katie Key Browning, 72, of Celeste Avenue entered into rest February 3, 2007 at University Hospital. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 9, 2007 at Old Macedonia Baptist Church with the Rev. Limuer Myers officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Ms. Browning, a native of Edgefield County, was a 1952 graduate of Martha Schofield High School. She was also a graduate of James Martin School of Nursing, Philadelphia and a retired nurse from University Hospital. She was a member of Old Macedonia Baptist Church where she sang on the choir. Survivors include a son, Mark Stevens; her mother, Leethurmond Beard Key; five sisters, Eva (Earl) Miller, Almary (Thomas) Vaughn, Vivian K. Thompson, Leethurmond (Thomas) Ramsey and Deloris Key; a brother, Douglas Key; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
