The first major commercial construction project to hit downtown North Augusta in more than a decade is under way. Jackson Square, a 30,000-square-foot office and retail complex at the corner of West Buena Vista and Georgia avenues, is expected to open in October. Tenants will include Georgialina Physical Therapy, whose owners are developing the mixed-use project; the UPS Store; Aiken Ophthalmology; and Fitness 24/7.
