GROVETOWN, Ga. - Entered into rest Tuesday, January 23, 2007 at Medical College of Georgia, Mr. Johnny Pierce Butler, Jr. of Railroad Avenue. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, January 30, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church with Reverend Ernest Turner, Sr. Mr. Butler was a native of Columbia County, Georgia. He was a truck driver and loved the play his guitar. Survivors are two daughters, Geneva Butler, of Augusta and Denise Butler, of Grovetown; three step children, Daisy Curry, Joseph Overton and Henry Overton; one brother, Rufus (Luneil) Butler, of Harlem; a devoted nephew, Ester Dunn, of Grovetown; a host other nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and friends.
