THOMSON, Ga. - Medi Hallford, 72 of Corbin St., Thomson, Ga., entered into rest January 20, 2007 at Doctors Hospital. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 24, 2007 at the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel. She is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Jim and Susan Woolsey, Charleston, S.C., Kimet and Karen Woolsey, Thomson, Ga., Kevin and Mary Woolsey, North Augusta, S.C., and Clark and Roxie Woolsey, Savannah, Ga.; daughter and son-in-law, Denise and Alan Greene, Augusta, Ga.; sisters, Maria, Christa, and Elizabeth and her husband Alan; and ten grandchildren. Mrs. Hallford was born in Engerson, Germany and was the daughter of the late Paul and Elsa Otte. She lived in Thomson, Georgia for over 35 years. Mrs. Hallford worked at Uniroyal, Thomson Company, Shaw Industries, and retired from Coca Cola. She was also a Lutheran by faith.
