MEETINGS: The board meets the second Tuesday of each month, and members have four events a year. The main meetings are in July and December at the Living History Park, 299 West Spring Grove Ave., North Augusta

MEMBERSHIP: Open to public for $20 a year. Almost all of the money that comes to the organization, goes into projects at the Living History Park.

MISSION: The purpose is to protect, enhance and educate the public about the historical significance of North Augusta. Preserving the unique character and quality of North Augusta and surrounding areas and developing community spirit through common historical projects are part of the mission.

QUOTE: "This park is eight acres of land and we want people to not only enjoy the park but realize they have a mini-Williamsburg and Central Park in North Augusta." - Lynn Thompson, president of the association
