AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Bobbie Bishop Rountree, 80, wife of the late Mr. Bradley Rountree, entered into rest on Wednesday, January 17, 2007 at University Hospital. A graveside service will be held at 2:30PM on Sunday, January 21, 2007, at Old Canoochee Cemetery in Swainsboro, GA with the Rev. Ken Wilson officiating. Mrs. Rountree, a native of Twin City, GA, was a member of Central Baptist Church. She was a homemaker. She was a very loving mother and grandmother and her family and friends will miss her dearly. Survivors include one daughter, Christy Rountree, six sons, Dennis Rountree (Linda), Bill Rountree, Charlie Rountree (Patti), Richard Rountree (Leigh Ann), Jeff Hadden (Roxanne), Joey Hadden (Emily), her grandchildren, Olivia Zucco, Maggie Rountree, Abby Boucher, Cassie Rountree, Shelby Rountree, John Wallace Hadden, Kaitlyn Hadden, Blake Hadden, Brent Hadden, Carter Hadden, her two great grandchildren, Hunter Hackett, Chandler Hackett and her faithful companion Cricket. Mrs. Rountree was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Stephanie R. Hackett. The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 20, 2007 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Platt's Crawford Avenue.
