Don't expect much from new Congress

  • Follow Letters

Since the election of the new Congress, there has been a lot of talk about whether they will allow President Bush to send more troops to Iraq.

This is nothing but hype - a total farce designed to make us think they are doing something of substance.

I write this because, beginning with the Korean War, our government - all three branches - has allowed our troops and our money to be used by the United Nations all over the globe to advance "global governance," causing the hatred the world has for the United States today.

There will be nothing good coming out of this new Congress, for in reality it is nothing more than a pacification/placation organization for that grand "New World Order" spoken of so fondly by our past few, so-called presidents.

They are a titular leadership

They are a titular leadership with an ax to grind. The separation will grow deeper when the president veto’s their bills and the American public will realize that this new leadership under Pelosi is a joke, just like their flip flop, whichever way the wind blows, politics about the war.
