WAYNESBORO, Ga. - Graveside services for Mr. James H. Garvin, 80, of Waynesboro, Georgia who died January 12, 2007, will be conducted Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock in Sunset Memory Gardens. President B. Leon Garvin speaker. Mr. Garvin was a native of Augusta having made Waynesboro his home for the past 15 years. He was a member and a retired custodian of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was a US Navy Veteran of World War II and retired from the VA Medical Center, Lynnwood Division. Mr. Garvin was the husband of 56 years of the late Frances Harsey Garvin. Survivors include a son, Darrell Garvin, Waynesboro; two daughters and sons-in-law, Phyllis and John Bagley, Koosharem, Utah and Ann and Butch Andracki, Augusta; nine grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; one great- great grandchild. The family would like to thank the Georgia War Veteran's Nursing Home and his granddaughter, Carie Bosdell for their care over the past three years.The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 6 to 8.
