Don't sully James Brown's legacy

  • Follow Letters

The funeral services for James Brown, with all of the exuberance and celebration of his life, were nevertheless dignified.

Reading about the current antics of his attorney, children, alleged children and widow (alleged widow?), I am reminded of James Carville's attempt to vilify Paula Jones: "This shows if you drag a $100 bill through a trailer park, there's no telling what you can find."

These people are doing all they can, it seems, to tarnish the rehabilitated James Brown legacy. The stain should attach to them, but sadly, it will not. Carville would love them.

Well said Mr Wonderly. Greed

Well said Mr Wonderly. Greed shows a terrible inner core of all who are afflicted with it.
