NORWOOD, Ga. - Mr. John William Neal, age 94 of Atlanta Highway died Saturday January 13, 2007 at Warrenton Health and Rehab Center. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A. M. Tuesday, January 16, 2007 at Norwood Baptist Church with Rev. John Jenkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Scruggs Cemetery. Mr. Neal will lie in state one hour prior to funeral services at the church. Mr. Neal, a native of Jefferson County was the son of the late Mr. John William, Sr. and Della Irby Neal. He was a retired farmer and owner of Neal's Garage. He was a member of Williams Creek Baptist Church, however in later years he attended the Norwood Baptist Church.
