AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Christine Davis Williams Tate entered into rest on Wednesday, January 10, 2007 at St. Joseph Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, January 15, 2007 at Platt's Crawford Avenue Chapel with the Rev. George Daniel McCall officiating. Mrs. Tate will lie in state in the chapel from 10:00 AM until service time. A second service will be held at 2:00 PM at Truevine Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. F.L. Patterson officiating. Interment will follow in Westover Memorial Park. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Hospice, 2260 Wrightsboro Road, Augusta, 30904.
