Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, January 16, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. from Mount Vernon Baptist Church with Rev. Marvin McRae, Pastor officiating. Interment will be in Walker Memorial Park. Survivors are his loving and devoted wife, Dorothy Brown Roberts; three sons, Anthony Roberts, Baltimore, Maryland, Eddie (Glenda) Roberts, Augusta, Georgia and Sylvester (Annette) James, Millen Georgia; sisters, Emma (George) Allen, Phoebe Jones, Nora Roberts, all of Augusta, Georgia and Patricia (Ronald) Lundy, Atlanta, Georgia; brother, Willie (Gertrude) Roberts, Livingston, Alabama; God-sister, Jennie Cooper, Clarksville, Maryland; special friends, Shirley Bush, Pikesville, Maryland, Loretta Setzler, Baltimore, Maryland, Carolyn Al'Mateen, Baltimore, Maryland and Melvin (Grace) Johnson, Baltimore, Maryland; and a host ofnieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
