At about 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, narcotics officers from the Columbia County Sheriff's Office arrested Wayne Scott Fernandez, 43, of the 3100 block of Scenic Drive in Augusta; Cheree Renee Granade, 29, of 100 block of Kaschwina Court in Grovetown; and Jamie Cloud Brosious, 37, of the 100 block of Pond View in Evans, on charges of manufacturing methamphetamine, according to a statement from sheriff's Capt. Steve Morris.

Ms. Brosious faces a second charge of manufacturing methamphetamine and a charge of possession of methamphetamine, according to a jail attendant.

Capt. Morris said the first lab was found on Pond View in Riverwood Plantation subdivision, which had been under investigation since October.

Ms. Brosious was arrested in connection with the lab found at Pond View, where she lives, he said.

Mr. Fernandez and Ms. Granade were arrested because a lab was found in the back of their truck as they were leaving Ms. Brosious' home, Capt. Morris said.

No bond was set for Ms. Granade or Mr. Fernandez on Wednesday. A jail attendant said bonds totaling $12,700 had been set on two charges for Ms. Brosious but that a third charge had no bond set.

Oh my, not in Columbia

Oh my, not in Columbia County!!!! The a-hole "thankGodforcolumbiacounty" would have everyone believe that there are no drug problems in the Lilly White Republic of Evans-Martinez. Of course it didn't take this bust for us to realize the truth....that there is a much larger drug problem in CC. Is there possibly a large group of stay at home soccer moms who get high during the day while watching the view? Let's see if O'Reilly reports on this anytime soon. LOL!!!

It can happen anywhere. It

It can happen anywhere. It does not matter where you live. I have lived in both in Richmond County and Columbia County; this kind of stuff is does not discriminate.

Zambu: If you think anyone

Zambu: If you think anyone belived that drugs are only a Richmond County problem, then they are living in a different world. As far as the "thankGodforcolumbiacounty", as a current Columbia County resident and a former Richmond County resident I would still choose to live in Columbia County. I'm happy that this meth lab was found and the people who were making/selling these drugs were caught. I don't care where it is, meth makers and sellers need to be stopped. I applaude the sheriffs department on discovering this lab and putting a stop to it. Instead of looking at the funny side of the issue (as you see it), look at the positive side and be happy that this lab was shutdown and that the people involved will be prosecuted.

Just wondering why NO mention

Just wondering why NO mention of the fact that the home in the 100 block of pond view is within eye sight of Greenbrier Middle School….

Also the fact that children live in that house and were present at the time of the bust….

Seems like stuff like that gets mentioned for drug bust that take place in other counties like Richmond & Aiken.

We will have to see if MONEY

We will have to see if MONEY can get Jamie out of this. Columbia County---Please do not let MONEY and prestige keep her from being treated just like a person with no money and prestige would be treated. Thank goodness her two boys were not at home to see the arrest. They have been threw enough because of her spoiled rich behavior. Does she have any idea what shame she has brought on her family? Selfishness does destroy.

it just goes to show you that you can't outrun crime and drugs like some people think. You are no better off than anyone else.

The diffrence between

The diffrence between Richmond and Columbia Counties is quite obvious, Columbia County authorities FOUND the lab. I wonder how long its going to take Richmond County Authorities to find one of their several meth labs that im pretty sure that are there.

I believe everyone in this

I believe everyone in this drug bust should pay for the crime they have commited. I also agree that we hope for once in her life Jamie pays dearly but I don't agree her kids should have to be involved. These children mentioned are innocent and yes they do have a great father and Thank God for that. Remember she is a DIVORCED singleMOMand the father and children should not have to be exposed to the public for her stupidity. We see what kind of mother she is. Maybe the reason the children wasn't mention is maybe our police department put the kids first as should be. Yes the house was by a middle school and high school but anyone that is familiar with Riverwood Plantation would know that. I applaude the police department for there efforts to stop this lab and be concerned for the children as needed. No one ever said we didn't have drugs in Colunbia County but we are more concerned citizens then people in Richmond County I beleive.

Meth lab bust in Columbia

Meth lab bust in Columbia County!! Big surprise!!! Where do you think all these drugs come from??? Bet no one else willl get caught unless these canaries start singing!! If someone had not phoned in a tip, then these people would not have been busted. Just goes to show that Columbia County has drug dealers living in million dollar homes too.

LaTwon, I think you also need

LaTwon, I think you also need to check your spelling. My point is no decent mother would be dealing with meth much less around her children and in her home to indanger their lives. Money doesn't make a person. Look where she lived.

first of all no one really

first of all no one really knows the facts about what really happened.if you all remember about 2 weeks ago a narcotics agent was fired in richmond county after a 6 month investigation. well let me tell you what he was doing, he was planting drugs on people , falsifying search warrants and in some cases taking them to the woods and beating them for information they may or may not have. that is dirty as it gets and to me a corrupt cop is the worst thing on the planet. this was not just a regular narcotics agent either, he was dea which means he could go basically go and do anything he wanted. so you have to ask yourself how many lives this guy ruined!! and what is bad is the fact that all the narcs in the area worshiped the ground he walked on. so all you concerned idiots in columbia county need to wake up and smell the coffee because the cops around here are far worse than jamie.
and bare in mind that all i have to do is go up to a narcotics agent and tell them that you are a drug dealer and guess what, they are kicking in your door. whats even worse is that they could find lighter fluid ,
coffee filters, and a cake dish in the same cabinet and guess what, you get lab charge!!

ok, ok, let's get off

ok, ok, let's get off spelling and personal attacks and look at the big picture. Regardless of our views of this woman involved, whom some knew long ago in her WestLake days, as mentioned, this isn't the only location in Columbia County,AND, Greenbrier schools are CURRENTLY (my only meaning being the house was in the immediate area for this bust, not that there are no other locations) in a hot zone with severe issues. The children are in danger. There need to be a lot more watch dogs so more people can get put in jail. Jamie's issues started long before now most likely, people need to be more aware and help each other protect others. And please start talking to your children as soon as they are able to understand before they get in a mess.

i can not believe that this

i can not believe that this is happening to jamie. she is the most giving person i have ever met and i think her ex-husband is behind all of it!! and i guarantee you that in all of these post not a dam person knows this woman because if you did you would know that things are not what they appear to be. she was under investigation from defax not the narcotics agents. they seemed to have left that one out though. and ill tell you what else, she passed not one but two suprise drug test they made her take and guess who called defax, her controlling exhusband!! thats right, her exhusband so all you concerned moms need to get a life and stop running your mouth about something you really know anything about.(why would he do this) in the month prior to that he made probably 30 million and he had to have some dirt so she couldnt take him back to court. so money is really what landed her in this f__ed up position in the first place. and since you all have nothing better to do go to goggle video and watch the video loose change...please watch the whole video then make your opinion based on all facts...i beg you at least give jamie that chance before you prejudge her please.

if you ask me its no suprise

if you ask me its no suprise people start selling drugs due to all the lazy people sitting on welfare and food stamps people who need a little help during a bad time can't get it because the state would rather help people who sit at home, don't pay taxes but get alot of food stamps and welfare it does not make it right but thats why alot of people do it and by the way there are alot of police mailey dea that are ruining lives everyday there are alot of bust that are just a bunch of planted evidence so they can get there props for busting someone and if you just happen to have any money saved up you can count if gone because they are going to keep it and no one at the station will ever know anything about it but with all this going on two wrongs dont make a right and the kids are who really suffer in each situation and money DOES NOT make anyone any better than the next person its probably the source of the whole matter!!!!!

To all the comments

To all the comments above///we should not judge Jamie or her exhusband until all the facts are out. You know how storys go it starts out small and when it get around it is full blown. I don't believe her ex-husband would do that to her or his kids. Lets get the facts--if she was making/taking or selling---the old saying is you do the crime you do the time.... stop bashing all and remember the children. It really doesn't matter where you live DRUGS are wrong.

Jamie has been a very close

Jamie has been a very close friend of mine for many years and I am horrified to hear of this arrest. I have know her to be a loving and good mother to her two boys. she is a wonderful cook and has always been there for me. I hope all of this is a huge mistake and it is proven that she had just fallen into the wrong group of people. I will pray for her boys as I know they love her very much and they must be in alot of pain. Please everyone step back and try to remember...we are all innocent until proven guilty!

This house was within a

This house was within a stone's throw of not only ONE but THREE of Columbia County's finest schools, yet that fact was conveniently omitted by the AC article. Now had that been in Richmond County they would have been all over that fact. There is definitely a bias in reporting by the AC for goings ons in the two counties. And what the heck was wrong with the Columbia County folks that set only a $12,700 bail for someone who was not only in possession of, but manufacturing methamphetamine?

drugs are all over the place

drugs are all over the place in both counties...the main difference is in the schools cocaine, pills, and meth are the popular drugs in columbia county and in richmond county is 95% marijuana a drug that SHOULD be legal anyway...even in school arrest columbia county has had WAY more but people always find it convienant to not talk about that..honestly i love living in richmond county because people are more real here

SayWhat?....Ms. Brosious has

SayWhat?....Ms. Brosious has not been given a bond on the Charge of manufacturing Meth in her home that is why she is still in jail. the $12,700 bond was for the two lessor charges.

In response to HENRY, you

In response to HENRY, you obviously don't know Jamie as well as you think you do. Her drug problem has been going on for years and her ex-husband is not to blame for her getting busted, she only has herself to blame. Also, before you tell everyone not to prejudge Jamie, you need to quit prejudging her exhusband. Bottom line is Jamie did something wrong and got caught. People need to stop all this and let this family worry about the kids.

Well spoken concerned I also

Well spoken concerned I also know this family and exhusband and agree with you whole heartedly. Jamie has made her bed
and hopefully this time her exhusband won't try to bail her out like he has done in the past. She destroyed this family and these kids lives so please be concerned and pray for the family members not on/or selling drugs and let them focus on these innocent children who do love their mother but do not have a clue to who and how she really is. They need the community support. For anyone who does have children that will be going to school with these kids please talk to your children about this situiation and help these children get through. Kids can be cruel and these children are suffering enough. Let the law handle it now and may EVERYONE pay who is envolved the remember children are paying enough. May God be with them.

If they found a meth lab in

If they found a meth lab in her house, there is no way anyone could have framed her. Planted drugs maybe, but you don't plant a meth lab to my knowledge. Either she set it up, or she let someone set it up there. I'm glad they found it also, and drugs are everywhere, rich or poor, no matter where you live. It's a shame, lets pray.

I totally agree with

I totally agree with "concerned", "concerned mom" and "TIREDdooer". This is a really sad situation to be in but honestly, sounds like she really got herself into a huge mess and now she has to pay the penalty and so will the others that were involved and arrested. I am a mom and I personally wouldn't want someone with a meth lab living on my street. It's true..........doesn't matter where you live, rich or poor, drugs are everywhere. We as concerned parents and citizens should be more aware of what is going on in our communities and schools. The more drugs we help to take off the streets, the safer our children will be. I pray for all those involved, especially the children, in this mess that these "so called responsible adults" have created.
