' I DO'

Carrie Keel and Eric Trivett became engaged in the most fitting spot: Mercer University's campus in Macon, Ga.

"He took me to dinner and brought me back to campus to take a walk," she recalled. "It's such a symbol for our relationship. The reason we met was showing people that school."

They were working as orientation assistants when they met at about 6 one morning in 2003. Though they didn't officially begin dating until June 2004, there was always a connection, she said.

"There was some spark hit when I first met him," she said. "He is my very best friend in the whole world. He's my hero, the love of my life - all those things in one."

The couple exchanged vows Saturday at Newton Chapel on the Mercer campus.
