Elease C. Briggs (AUGUSTA, Ga.)

AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Elease C. Briggs of Chaffee Avenue entered into rest Monday, December 25, 2006 at her residence. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 30, 2006 at 12:00 noon at Palmer Grove Baptist Church. Burial will be in Bellevue Memorial Gardens. Left to cherish fond and affectionate memories are these survivors: two devoted daughters, Mrs. Patricia B. (Floyd) Blount, Mrs. Sharon B. (Carl) Tyrell; four sons, Dea. Joseph (Pearl) Cummings, Sr., Mr. Robert (Jacqueline) Briggs, Jr., Dea. Earnest (Rev. Janie Sue) Briggs, Dea. Leon (Beverly) Briggs, Sr., all of Augusta, Georgia; one sister, Ms. Alavan Seabrook, Miami, Florida; five brothers, Mr. George Cummings, Miami, Fla./Hephzibah, Ga., Dea. Robert (Alberta) Cummings, Miami, Fla., Mr. Willie Louis Cummings, Louisville, Ga., Mr. Willie Lee (Martha) Seabrook, Mibamer, Fla., Min. Johnny (Rosalyn) Seabrook, Tampa, Fla.; twenty one grandchildren, twenty four great-grandchildren; two aunts, Ms. Ella C.
