Augusta will have new place for Mexican food

Mexican food will be on the menu at Senor Taco Express, which opens in early January at 1531 Walton Way.

The restaurant will offer tacos, quesadillas, enchiladas and fajitas, in addition to salads, soups and a children's menu, said owner Brett Peloquin.

Prices will range from 99 cents for chips and salsa to $12 for items with shrimp.

Mr. Peloquin said that the restaurant will seat about 80 and that customers will order at the counter and then have their food brought to their table.

Hours will be 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily.
