My thanks for publishing the guest column by Grady Abrams in the Dec. 10 paper ("Some blacks punish cooperation with whites").
I am an ailing white guy who lived in the 1950s on the 2100 block of Milledgeville Road (now a slum on Martin Luther King Boulevard). Mr. Abrams is right on target. I have many good friends who are black who agree, albeit anonymously.
Finding blacks who will condemn black behavior hopefully is not as difficult as finding Muslims who will condemn the terrorist bombers.
