MEETING: The plantation is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday-Monday. Volunteers usually work from 1-4 p.m. after an informal orientation. The plantation is in Beech Island.
MEMBERSHIP: The plantation has two volunteers, but 10 are needed to help it operate at optimum levels. Anyone willing to learn about history and interact with other people is welcome to volunteer.
MISSION: To preserve and interpret the historic structures, collections and landscapes of the planation.
