VAUCLUSE, S.C. - Entered into rest Tuesday, December 5, 2006, Ms. Jewel P. Chapman of Vaucluse, wife of the late Frank C. Chapman and daughter of the late Stanton V. Pate and the late Annie Mae Arender Pate. She is survived by two daughters, Cathy C. Dooley and her husband, Gary of Vaucluse, Debra C. Eubanks and her husband, Ronnie of Trenton; two sons, Clifton S. Chapman and his wife, Lynn of Aiken and Larry W. Chapman and his wife, Pamela of North Augusta; 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; a brother, William Pate of West Columbia and two sisters, Patricia Daniels of North Augusta and Helen Newcome of Nashville, Tenn. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Gene and Allen Pate. She was born in Graniteville, S.C. and has been a lifelong resident of Aiken County. She was a homemaker. She was of the Baptist Faith. The funeral service will be conducted Friday, December 8, 2006 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home with Rev. James Young officiating. The interment will follow in the Graniteville Cemetery. The pallbearers will be grandsons: Jeremy Curtis, Jason Curtis, Stanton Chapman, Matthew Chapman, Tyler Chapman and Brandon Eubanks. The family will receive friends at the daughter, Cathy Dooley's residence in Vaucluse or tonight, Thursday, December 7, 2006 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Napier Funeral Home, 315 Main Street, Graniteville, S.C. 29829.
