APPLING, Ga. - Entered into rest Friday, November 24, 2006 at University Hospital, Ms. Carrie Pauline Leverett of Louisville Road. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, November 30, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. from Olive Grove Baptist Church (Appling) with Rev. Dr. Robert Leverett, Pastor officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Ms. Leverett was a native of Columbia County, a member of Olive Grove Baptist Church and a retired paraprofessional with the Columbia County Board of Education. She leaves to cherish her memories a loving mother, Lucy Mae Leverett, Appling, Ga.; two devoted sons, Keith (Jackalyn "June") Leverett, Augusta, Ga. and Darrell (Quannah) Leverett, Snellville, Ga.; three sisters, Katie (Walton) Pollard, Augusta, Ga., Mary (Willie) Barnes and Patricia (Ervin) Germany, both of Harlem, Ga.; two brothers, James (Loretta) Leverett, Philadelpia, Pa. and Robert (Gracey) Leverett, Augusta, Ga.; six grandchildren, Kelsea Leverett, Darrell E. Leverett, Keith D. Leverett, Lachae Brown, Brandon Middleton and Marlon Middleton; three aunts, Carrie Bell Holmes, Pinkie Jackson and Juanita Clark; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and close friends.
