NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. - Lucille R. Boland Stafford, age 80, of North Augusta, widow of James Harold Boland died November 20, 2006 at the Palmetto Health Baptist Hospital in Columbia. Born in Kitchings Mill, S.C., August 16, 1926, a daughter of the late William Berry and Essie M. Glaze Johnson, she was retired from Georgia Railroad Bank in Augusta, Ga. She was a member of Belvedere First Baptist Church in Belvedere, S.C. Survivors include her son, Charles Harold Boland and wife Kimberly of Irmo; 2 grandchildren, James Harold Boland, II of Chapin and Mercy Davina Boland Floyd of Little Mountain; 4 great grandchildren, Zoe, Sydney, Riley and Porter; siblings, Magdalene Hampton of Gaffney, Alice Johnston of Belvedere, Ella Jane Ussery of Warrenville, Joseph Johnson and wife Dot of Gloverville and Clara Boland of W. Columbia; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by siblings, Ona Mae Johnson and Pierce Johnson. Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 11:00 a.m. from the Blyth Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Elmwood Cemetery in Ninety Six. The family will receive friends Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the service hour at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorials to Alzheimer's Association Upstate South Carolina Chapter, PO Box 658, Greenwood, S.C. 29648, in memory of Mrs. Stafford.
