Gators dominant inside in blowout



GAINESVILLE, Fla. - Al Horford and Joakim Noah dominated again inside, combining for 34 points and 17 rebounds, leading top-ranked Florida to a 90-61 victory against Jacksonville on Thursday night.

The defending national champions extending their winning streak to 14 games.

Florida (3-0) built a 31-point lead late in the first half, going ahead 45-14 on Taurean Green's 3-pointer, and cruised the rest of the way.

NO. 11 DUKE 75, UNC-GREENSBORO 48

In Durham, N.C., Brian Zoubek scored 17 points off the bench to lead the Blue Devils.

Gerald Henderson had 12 points, and David McClure and DeMarcus Nelson added 11 apiece for Duke (3-0).

NO. 13 MEMPHIS 111, JACKSON STATE 69

In Memphis, Tenn., Chris Douglas-Roberts scored 21 points to lead six Memphis players in double figures.

Memphis (1-0) never trailed in the game, led by as many as 23 in the first half and continued to build the advantage after the break.

MARYLAND 92, ST. JOHN'S 60

In New York, Ekene Ibekwe bettered his career high by outscoring St. John's in the first half, and Maryland went on romp.

Ibekwe scored all 22 of his points in the first half when he outscored St. John's (2-1) by one as Maryland took a 58-21 lead.
