AUGUSTA, Ga. - Entered into rest Friday, November 10, 2006, at Westwood Nursing Home, Mrs. Juanita Fowler Shuman, 85, wife of the late John Joy Shuman. Mrs. Shuman was a native of Modoc, SC and has resided in the Augusta area since 1988. She was a homemaker and a member of Longcreek Baptist Church. Family members include her daughter and son-in-law: Patricia and Gene Jones of Augusta; granddaughters: Robyn and husband, Sam Morris of Evans, Tamara and husband, Chuck Atkins of Grovetown, Shannon and husband, Greg Johnson of North Augusta, SC; grandsons: Kevin and wife, Marzella Jones of Martinez, Keith and wife, Karen Greene of Grovetown, Andy Greene of Augusta; great-grandchildren: Hunter Morris, Amber Morris, Korde Jones, Ashley Atkins, Gavin Johnson, Peyton Greene and Rhiley Greene and special friend: Amy Harris. Mrs. Shuman was predeceased by her daughter: Annette Greene. Graveside funeral services will be held Monday, November 13, 3006 in Bellevue Memorial Gardens at 1:00 P.M. with Rev. Larry Harmon officiating. The family would like to express their appreciation to the dedicated staff of Westwood Nursing Home.
