Etta M. Penrow (AUGUSTA, Ga.)



AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Etta M. Dyches Penrow, 93, wife of the late Reverend Albert M. Dyches and Mr. Oscar Penrow entered into rest Friday, November 10, 2006 at Medical College Of Georgia Select Specialty Hospital. Graveside services will be held Monday, November 13, 2006 at 2:00 P.M. in Hillcrest Memorial Park with Reverend C.W. Edwards officiating. Mrs. Penrow was born in Old Ellenton, S.C. and lived her life in Augusta. She was retired from the Richmond County Board of Education having worked in the lunchroom at Wilkinson Gardens Elementary School. Mrs. Penrow was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Survivors include; two daughters and sons-in-law, Dorothy L. and Don Rawls of Thomson, Ann and Gene Sorrow of Evans, two sons and daughters-in-law, Dan and Mary Dyches of Martinez, Michael E. and Cathy Dyches of Greenville, S.C., eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, two sisters, Thelma Edwards of Aiken and Margaret McCullough of Alabama. Active Pallbearers will be Mark Secord, Tim Shelton, Gene Sorrow and Ryan Dyches The family will receive friends Monday from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
