Herman Selwyn (EVANS, Ga.)



EVANS, Ga. - Mr. Herman S. "Hy" Selwyn, 94 entered into rest on Saturday, November 11, 2006 at Brandon Wilde. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday November 13, 2006 at Westover Memorial Park, with Rabbi Robert G. Klensin officiating. Born in the U.S.S.R., Mr. Selwyn was a citizen of the United States, was a member and Board Member of Walton Way Temple- Congregation Children of Israel and was past President of the Walton Way Temple Brotherhood, a life member of the YMCA of Augusta and was retired from National Beverage Co., Inc., of Atlanta, GA, where he was Secretary for over 50 years. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Blanche O. Selwyn, Evans, daughter and son in law, Ronni S. and Cliff Meldrum, Evans, son and daughter in law, I Alan and Ginny Selwyn, Nashville, TN, three grandchildren, Heidi A. Fender, Evans, Harris M. Abelman and wife Gloria F. Abelman, Evans, Rebekah Ann Selwyn, Nashville, TN, Four great grandchildren, Taylor Nicole Abelman, Lauren Abelman, Jordan Fender and Jared Fender, all of Evans. There will be no formal visitation.
