Viola Faircloth (BATH, S.C.)



BATH, S.C. - Entered into rest on Saturday, November 4, 2006, Mrs. Viola Preston Faircloth of 40 Church Street, Bath, SC. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Walter L. Faircloth and by two sons, Tommy and David Faircloth. Surviving are a son, Russell Faircloth of Bath, SC; three sisters, Joyce Lamb, Vaucluse, SC, Lois Lanier, Gloverville, SC, Patsy Randall, Silverstreet, SC, five grandchildren, Lisa Wood, Belinda Johnson, David Faircloth Jr., Tommy Faircloth Jr., Jennifer Faircloth, and seven great-grandchildren. Mrs. Faircloth was born in Aiken, SC to the late Tommy W. and Pearl Shivers Faircloth. She retired from the Bath Mill after 23 years of service. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Hatcher Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jack Scott officiating. Interment will be in the Sunset Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Shot and Ronald Lanier, David Faircloth Jr., Roland Beck, Justin and Jimmy Wood. Friends may call at the residence of her sister, Joyce Lamb, 40 Green Street, Vaucluse, SC or on Monday 6 to 8 p.m. at the Hatcher Funeral Home and Cremation Service, U.S. Hwy. #1, Langley, SC.
