Edward Barrett (AUGUSTA, Ga.)



AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. Edward Barrett, beloved husband of Caroline Barrett, entered into rest at his residence Saturday, October 28, 2006. Mr. Barrett worked in Delivery/ Maintenance with Eagle Parts and Products. A past employee of Borden's Dairy for 26 years, he retired from Kroger Grocery Store. He was a member of the Sons of American Legion Post # 178 and a fan of boxing and NASCAR Racing. Funeral services will be held at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, Lumpkin Road Chapel, Thursday, November 2, 2006, at 2:00 p.m. with Jacqueline Kohlenberg officiating. Burial will be at Bellevue Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Benjamin Barrett, Christopher Rohl, Phillip Barrett, Robert E. Barrett, Jr. and Tom Kohlenburg. Honorary pallbearers will be the Sons of American Legion Post # 178, Ronnie L Barrett and Robert E. Barrett, Sr. Survivors include his wife; son, Benjamin Barrett and Erica Brotemarkle; daughters, Jacqueline Barrett (Thomas) Kohlenburg and Georgiana Barrett (Edward) Rohl; brothers, Robert and Ronald Barrett; 12 grandchildren; one great-grandchild and several relatives of the Reading Family, Dunkirk, N.Y. He is preceded in death by his sister, June Barrett Davis and his parents, Olen Barrett and Eloise English Barrett.
