Mildred Brewer (AUGUSTA, Ga.)

AUGUSTA, Ga. - Ms. Mildred S. Brewer 72, entered into rest on Wednesday October 25, 2006 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday October 28, 2006 in the Platt's Funeral Home Belair Chapel. Interment will follow Hillcrest Memorial Park. Ms. Brewer was a very caring and giving person, who was loved by all that knew her. She was retired from the Medical College of Georgia, presently a Product Demonstrator for Sam's Club and was a member of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Paul Self, Raymond Self, Bobby Self and Albertus Mahaffey. Survivors include her daughter, Sharon B. Benhart, Augusta, GA; granddaughter, Melissa Anne Benhart, Atlanta, GA; brothers, John Edward Self and wife Janet, of California, Joe Self and wife Helen, Kershaw, SC, Jerry Self and wife Joyce Ann, Columbia, SC, Davis Self and wife Mary, Columbia, SC; sisters, Helen Haynes and husband Tommy, Summerville, SC, Warneda Sims, Columbia, SC; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, October 27, 2006 at Platt's Belair Road.
