Ladson Couch (LANGLEY, S.C.)



LANGLEY, S.C. - Entered into rest Sunday, night, October 22, 2006, at University Hospital, Augusta, GA, Mr. Ladson Daniel "Ace" Couch, 82, of Langley, SC, beloved husband of sixty-three years to Mrs. Etrulie Baughman "Jackie" Couch. Born in and a lifelong resident of Langley, SC, he was a son of the late Romie Lee and Nellie Thompson Couch. Ace, as he was affectionately known, was a retried paint contractor and was a member of Langley Pentecostal Holiness Church. Ace was an accomplished guitar player and loved spending time with his family and playing music. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Jerry Lee Couch, Sr. (Shirley) Warrenville, SC; daughter, Lydia Gail Hutto, (Tommie) Warrensburg, MO; eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. A daughter, Carolyn Faye Hearn, (John) preceded him in death. The family has asked that memorials in memory of Ace be made to the American Heart Association, 520 Gervais St, Ste300, Columbia, SC 29201( www.americanheart.org) Funeral services will be held Wednesday, afternoon, October 25, 2006 at 2 o'clock at Hatcher Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Langley, SC, with Pastor Gene Brown and Pastor Alvin Lunsford officiating. Interment will follow in Langley Cemetery, Langley, SC.
