Fishing Tournaments

Entry fee is $60 per boat plus optional big fish pot fee of $10. Tournament hours safe light until 3 p.m. Registration for boat positions will be held at Augusta Marine Superstore, 1547 Gordon Highway, from 6 to 7 p.m., on Friday, Nov. 3. The event benefits Georgia-Carolina Council of Boy Scouts.

Billed as the largest tournament trail for weekend anglers, it's open to men, women and youths (with parental consent) 16 years of age and older. No boat is required, but if you enter as a boater, you will be guaranteed its use even if there are no non-boaters in the field. Entry fee is $55 for one-day tournaments. Payment at the ramp will result in a $5 penalty unless you are signing up as a new member, renewing membership or are a life member. No professional guides or professional bass anglers are allowed. Membership fee $60 per team or $30 per single angler. Qualifier entry fee $80 per team, except $100 per team in final. $10 late fee at the ramp. Teams have to fish one qualifier on lake or lakes of their choice to be eligible to fish the final. Subs are allowed at qualifiers, but must be approved by tournament director. $30 membership required for subs. Anglers must be physically present at qualifier to be eligible to fish the final. Team members must fish together.
