Joe Tereshinski, Matthew Stafford and Joe Cox have shared the starting quarterback load for Georgia this season. It just might seem like it's been David Copperfield and Penn & Teller.
That's because the No. 10 Bulldogs have managed to pull a 5-0 record virtually out of thin air despite sputtering along offensively.
Georgia is 89th in the nation in total offense, a mere 297.0 yards per game, the smallest output of the 13 remaining unbeaten teams in Division I-A and within five spots of winless Stanford and Eastern Michigan.
Just in the nick of time, Tereshinski, a fifth-year senior who has missed the last three games with a high ankle sprain, could be the starter for Saturday's Southeastern Conference East clash with No. 13 Tennessee (4-1, 0-1 SEC) at 7:45 p.m. on ESPN.
If Tereshinski doesn't start, Stafford will get the call.
