- To raise money for burn victims, the Southeastern Firefighters Burn Foundation takes aluminum cans at the Belvedere Fire Department on U.S. Highway 25, Langley Fire Department on South Carolina Highway 421, and Aiken Department of Public Safety stations No. 2 on Silver Bluff Road and No. 3 on U.S. Highway 78.

- CMC North Augusta, 1119 Atomic Road, North Augusta, (803) 279-0161, takes scrap metal and nonferrous metals.

- City of North Augusta Recycling Center, 101 Clay Pit Road, takes newspaper, cardboard, plastic bottles and milk jugs, glass and tin cans.
