MEETINGS: 6 p.m. every second Tuesday. Group meets at 1555 Richland Ave., Aiken.

MEMBERSHIP: Open to those who complete the Clemson Master Gardeners Course. The course costs $150 and includes an interview process because of demand for membership. Potential members can sign up at the beginning of the school year and must show an interest in gardening. Members complete 45 hours of community service for the class and 25 hours of service each year.

MISSION: To promote better home gardening. Master gardeners rent their services to community members for $150. The money goes toward a scholarship fund.
