HAYTI, MO. - Steven Ray Craig, Jr. of Hayti, was born February 14, 1988 in Augusta, Ga. and died September 14, 2006 at The Hospital in Hayti. He was 18 years, seven months of age. Steven was a Senior at Hayti High School and loved hunting and fishing. He leaves to mourn his passing, father, Steven Craig and Alice West, Hayti; mother, Pamela Craig, Robinsonville, Miss.; two sisters, Stephanie Pevey, Laurinburg, N.C. and Sharon Craig, Hayti; brother, Michael Craig, Laurinburg; grandmother, Mrs. Imogene Craig, Hayti; two uncles, David Craig, Memphis, Tenn and Walter Scarborough, Augusta; seven aunts, Nancy Staulcup, Augusta, Dale Martin, Augusta, Francis Chavous, Augusta, Hilda Scarborough, Augusta, Betty Mixson, Hampton, S.C., Sharon Waters, Roanoke Rapids, N.C. and Sharon Williams, Portageville, MO; two nephews, Jason and Corey Pevey, Laurinburg and a host of other relatives and many friends. Funeral services were held Saturday, September 16, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. in The First Baptist Church in Hayti with Rev. Jim Pilcher officiating. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery at Hayti. Pallbearers were, Stevie Hall, Terry Hall, Jr., Michael Watkins, Jr., Dereck Hall, Ethan and Jonathan Turnage. John W. German Funeral Home of Hayti, MO in charge.
