TIME FOR REVIVAL
Dr. Michael Guido, "The Sower" from Metter, Ga., will lead revival at 10 a.m. Sunday at Bible Fellowship Church, which meets at The Belair Conference Center, 4083 S. Belair Road. A continental breakfast will be served at 9:30 a.m.
The church will present the Journeymen Bluegrass Gospel Band, of Hartwell, Ga., at Bellevue Chapel, Bellevue Memorial Gardens, 4501 Wrightsboro Road in Grovetown. The revival will resume at 7 p.m. Monday at the church with a Sept. 11 tribute and soloist Jimmy Page, of Metter. SEPT. 11 TRIBUTES
Augusta-area churches will honor local first responders and commemorate the sacrifices of those who served during the terrorist attacks Sept. 11, 2001.
Members of the military and civilian safety and emergency personnel are invited to wear their uniforms to services at 9:20 and 10:45 a.m. Sunday at Warren Baptist Church, 3203 Washington Road. Call (706) 860-1586.
Columbia County commission Chairman Ron C. Cross will join the Rev. Greg Porterfield, the pastor of Wesley United Methodist Church in Evans, in an observance at 9 a.m. Monday at the flagpole at the Columbia County Justice Center, 640 Ronald Reagan Drive in Evans.
United 93 will be shown at noon, 2:30 and 4:30 p.m. at the Jabez Sanford Hardin Performing Arts Center, 720 N. Belair Road in Evans. A tribute titled Patriots Day will be held at 6 p.m. at the performing arts center amphitheater,
Wesley's sanctuary, 825 N. Belair Road in Evans, will be open for prayer from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
