PETTICOAT JUNCTION, S.C. - Lawrence Boyd and Frederick Blanchard led the way as Silver Bluff rolled to a 26-0 non-conference victory over Ninety Six on Friday night.
Boyd caught touchdown passes of 30 and 51 yards from Blanchard, and also scored on a 1-yard run.
Boyd rushed for 68 yards and had those two receptions for 81 yards.
In addition to the two touchdown passes, Blanchard scored on a 2 yard run. He hit four of five passes for 81 yards.
Silver Bluff is 2-1.

JOHNSTON, S.C. - Wardlaw Academy improved to 2-2 behind the running of Troy Thomas and passing of Stephen Balentine.
Thomas rushed for 187 yards and had touchdown runs of 24 and 7 yards.
Balentine passed for 159 yards and two touchdowns, to Kevin Ginn and Harrison Courtney (both of 19 yards), and also scored a rushing touchdown.
Ginn caught four of Balentine's passes for 87 yards.

SYLVANIA, Ga. - Zane Powell kicked a 28-yard field goal with three seconds left in the game as Screven Country rallied for victory over Burke County in a wild finish.
Screven County trailed 27-21 with less than two minutes left in the game. Travis Coles scored on a 1-yard run with 1:141 to tie the score at 27-27, but the PAT kick failed and the scored stayed that way.
On the first play following the kickoff, Screven County's Travis Sampson intercepted a Tyler Hammett pass with 1:31 to go.
The Gamecocks drove from their own 38 to the Burke County 1, setting up Powell's game-winning kick.
Coles led the Gamecocks (1-1) in rushing with 187 yards.
Burke (0-2) got 141 yards rushing from Julius Patterson and 136 from Johnathan Cohen.
